New version of MedGemak | April 2026

From today, you can start using the new version of MedGemak. It may take a little while before you see the new version in the App Store or Google Play Store. Depending on your phone’s settings, the app will update automatically or you will need to do this yourself.

In this news item, we explain which features have been added or changed in this new version.

Nieuwe mogelijkheden:

• Digitale triage via Spreekuur.nl
  When you book an appointment or ask a question, you will first be asked to answer a few short questions. This ensures you receive the right help more quickly and that your query can be dealt with more efficiently. This only applies if your GP practice uses Spreekuur.nl.

• Documents in Mijn dossier
  In My File, you can now easily view letters and other documents shared with you by your GP practice.

• Updated order status (pharmacy)
  The display of your medication orders has been improved, so you can see the status more clearly.

Improvements:

• Improved medication guidance (pharmacy)
  You will receive extra support when using medicines, such as instructional videos, handy icons and clearer explanations.

• Behind-the-scenes improvements
  Technical improvements have been implemented to ensure a more stable and secure app.
